HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TERRARIUM
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TERRARIUM
Light & temperature
Place your terrarium indoors in a bright spot with plenty of indirect light. Think of it as a little forest growing beneath the trees — it loves light, but not direct sunshine!
- ☀️ Natural light: Avoid direct sunlight to prevent overheating.
- 💡 Artificial light: Use a white LED light (5000–6700K) for around 8 hours a day if needed.
- 🌡️ Temperature: Keep your terrarium comfortable, ideally between 15–27°C.
- 🍃 A little tip: Keep it away from radiators, air conditioners, and sudden temperature changes.

Watering
Your terrarium has its own little water cycle, so it usually needs very little extra water. The trick is to observe your tiny ecosystem and let it tell you what it needs!
🌱 Check the soil: If it looks lighter in colour and feels dry, give it a gentle mist. If it looks dark and moist, there's no need to water.
🍃 Look at the moss: Green, moist moss is a happy sign that your terrarium has enough moisture.
💦 Watch the glass: Condensation may come and go throughout the day — this is perfectly normal! However, if heavy condensation persists, your terrarium may need a little airing.
🌿 Water gently: If everything looks dry, use a spray bottle to add a small amount of water. Remember, less is more!
💧 Choose the right water: Rainwater or distilled water is best, as it helps prevent mineral deposits and the potential effects of tap-water additives over time.
A little mist goes a long way! Keep an eye on your tiny forest, and let nature do the rest. 🌿
Maintenance
Keep your little green world looking fresh and healthy with a little regular care!
🌱 Remove dead leaves: Gently remove any dead or yellowing leaves as soon as you notice them to help prevent mold and keep your terrarium healthy.
✂️ Trim when needed: If your plants start to outgrow their space, carefully trim them back to keep your miniature garden balanced and beautiful.
